One of Christofle’s bestselling collections in stainless steel, l’Ame, designed by Eugeni Quittlet, is now offered in COLOUR, thanks to the PVD technique.
So what does PVD stand for? PVD stands for “Physical Vapor Deposition”, a layer of colour metal which is composed of a mix of titanium, chromium and zircon, which is applied to the 18/10 stainless flatware in the form of a vapor in a vacuum atmosphere and at a temperature between 150 and 500 degrees Celsius, making it highly resistant to discoloration.
This colour process has allowed for l’Ame to grow its offerings with copper, gold and black versions. Needless to say the mix and match o your tables is infinite.
Due to the extreme popularity of the product since its launch in September 2020, manufacturing delays can be up to 90 days from order confirmation.
We can expect more references to be added in the course of 2021, but note that steak knives and fish implements as well as butter spreader are already on offer.
Price stated herein is for s 7pcs setting for one person.
